Instrument cluster LCD / dashboard LCD | BMW (S1000, R1200)

Tools:

  • Nose pliers

Procedure:

  1. If necessary disassemble windshield
  2. For disassembly of instrument cluster / dashboard: watch video (click on figure)

Instrument cluster TFT / dashboard | BMW (S1000, R1250, ...)

Tools:

  • Nose pliers

Procedure:

  1. If necessary disassemble windshield
  2. If necessary pull-off dashboard cover (e.g. as shown in picture for S1000RR 2019+)
  3. Disassemble securing clip with nose plies (3 pcs)
  4. Pull-out dashboard from frame towards handlebars
  5. Pull-off electric connector
  6. Recommendation: Pull-out coding plug and store it while your dashboard is processed from us (can easily be bend)
